When is a Catholic a Catholic?

This question is somewhat like another question:

How much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?

Answer:

A woodchuck would chuck as much wood as a woodchuck would chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood.

So to answer the question – When is a Catholic a Catholic?:

A Catholic is a Catholic if a Catholic believes what a Catholic believes.
